Pool Care in the Heart of Historic Gruene
Gruene (say it like “green”) started as its own German-Texan cotton town on the Guadalupe River and is now a historic district inside New Braunfels city limits. Gruene Hall, built in 1878, still draws a crowd, and the river still draws tubers all summer.
The homes around Gruene are a real mix: older places with mature trees and established pools, river-area properties, and newer neighborhoods on the hills nearby. Some pools are decades old, some are brand new, and some belong to rentals that host guests most weekends. We handle all of them with the same steady care.
From weekly pool cleaning to honest pool repair, Gruene gets the same technician on the same day every week.

We Are Experts With:
What Makes Gruene Pools Different
Big old trees are part of Gruene’s charm, and they are also the biggest thing your pool deals with. Oak leaves, cypress needles near the river, and seasonal pollen load skimmers and filters and can stain plaster if they sit.
The water is hard here like the rest of the Hill Country, so calcium scale builds on tile and salt cells unless chemistry stays steady.
And Gruene sees a lot of guests. Pools at rentals and busy family homes burn through chlorine fast in summer. Our weekly service keeps up, with a photo report after every visit.
The Pool Problems We Fix Most in Gruene
The calls that fill our Gruene route, and how we handle each one.
Oak and Cedar Debris in the Skimmer
Live oaks drop leaves every spring and cedar sheds all year, and both pile into baskets fast. Weekly skimming and basket cleaning keep debris from sinking, staining, and clogging lines.
Rental and Guest-Heavy Pools
Pools that host a steady stream of guests burn through chlorine and collect sunscreen and oils. We keep chemistry tight between busy weekends so every group finds clear water.
Older Equipment That Still Has Life
Plenty of pools here run equipment other companies only quote to replace. We repair what deserves repairing and show you plainly when something is truly done.
Scale Creeping Along the Waterline
Hard Texas water leaves its calcium mark on tile here like everywhere in the region. Our Pool Tile Cleaning strips the buildup properly, and balanced weekly chemistry slows how fast it comes back through the hot months.
Mud and Debris After Hill Country Storms
Heavy Texas storms wash dirt, leaves, and silt into pools in a hurry. We clear it out, rebalance, and clean the filter so the water clears fast instead of turning.
Green Water After a Trip
A week of Texas heat with nobody checking chemistry is all it takes. Our Green to Clean service brings the water back fast, and steady weekly care keeps it from happening again.
Heaters and Spas for Cool Evenings
Texas winters are short but chilly, and a heater that will not fire always picks the worst night. We repair gas heaters and heat pumps and keep attached spas clean and balanced.
Filters Loaded with Debris and Pollen
Leaves, pollen, and fine dust load cartridges fast in spring and fall. A clean filter means clear water and less strain on the pump, so we keep yours on a real schedule.

Running a Pool at a Gruene Rental or Guest House
Plan service around check-ins. We can schedule visits so the pool is fresh before guests arrive on busy weekends.
Keep chemistry tight. More swimmers means more sunscreen, oils, and chlorine demand. Weekly testing and balancing keep water clear and comfortable.
Post simple rules. A short sign about rinsing off and keeping glass out of the pool saves a lot of trouble.
Fix problems before the review. Cloudy water or a dead pump on a Saturday is a bad look. Our weekly service catches issues early, and an acid wash can freshen a stained finish between seasons.
Pool Service Plans Built for Gruene Pools
Not every pool needs the same thing, so we keep it simple with two recurring plans. Pick the one that matches your trees and your patience, and we take care of the rest.
Full Service Plan
The whole load carried weekly: chemistry, skimming, brushing, vacuuming, baskets, and an equipment inspection every visit. For busy households and anyone who would rather just swim, this is the plan most Gruene owners pick.
Chemical Only Plan
Professional water balancing while you run the net and brush yourself. Premium chemicals, basket emptying, and equipment checks. It suits hands-on owners with lighter debris and a bit of free time.
Torn between the two? Most Gruene owners with big trees or rental guests pick Full Service, but tell us how the pool gets used and we’ll be straight about which fits, including when the cheaper option is honestly the right one.
